Why integrate Vuolearning with your HR system and SSO?

When systems communicate with each other, your HR team saves time on manual tasks, and employees receive the right content at the right time – without unnecessary clicks.

  • Time savings and automation: New employees automatically gain access to onboarding content as soon as their employment begins – no need to manually create user accounts.
  • Security and ease of use: SSO (Single Sign-On) allows users to log in with their organization credentials – securely and without password management. Integration with organizational credentials also ensures that access is automatically revoked when an employee leaves.
  • Automatic content targeting: By importing user data such as department or job title, the right content can be automatically targeted to the right users. The same data can be used to filter reports.
  • Organizational structure in the learning platform: Manager data can be automatically imported from the background system. This enables each manager to have a Team page to view their team members’ progress and skill profiles.

How it works on the Vuolearning platform?

  • SSO Integration: Users log in to Vuolearning with their organization credentials (e.g. Microsoft Azure AD, Google Workspace). No separate accounts, no forgotten passwords, no need for manual deactivation.
  • HR Integration: Vuolearning connects to your HR system (e.g. Sympa, Mepco), automatically adding new employees to the learning platform with the correct background information. Organizational structure updates and content targeting are automated based on this data.

Examples of use cases

  • New employee onboarding: When employment begins, the HR system automatically activates the onboarding path in Vuolearning.
  • Role-based training: For example, managers automatically receive leadership-related content, while specialists get training relevant to their field.
  • Department-specific reporting: Performance data can be retrieved by department based on HR system data, giving managers visibility into their own teams.
  • End of employment: Access rights are automatically removed – ensuring data security.
