Rinta-Joupin Autoliike, one of the biggest car dealer companies in Finland, wanted to standardize and enhance their onboarding and training processes. The company has been growing fast, so the enlargening number of employees and the digitalization of the car industry have created new needs for learning constantly. The company wanted to find one platform, where they could conduct their trainings and encourage their employees to learn new things.

The company was pleased to find a Finnish, easy-to-use cloud platform

Ease of use was one of the first criteria for Rinta-Joupin Autoliike, when selecting a new system. They wanted to have a system that was easy to use for everyone: the administrators, course creators, and attendees.

Rinta-Joupin Autoliike's IT coordinator Sami Arpiainen highlights, how simple the implementation of a cloud platform is from the IT's point of view. "It really makes the IT's job easier, when no new systems are needed to be installed", Arpiainen says.

As a Finnish company, Rinta-Joupin Autoliike felt that the Finnish background of Vuolearning brought some positive impacts to the system as well. For example the ability to get customer support in Finnish and having a user interface in Finnish among other languages, were important factors. Arpiainen also felt that they could trust that a Finnish company takes care of, for example, data security matters in a way that is required in Finland and in the EU.

The employees at Rinta-Joupin Autoliike have noticed Vuolearning to be a cost-effective service: the price of the product is very well in line with the benefits gained. The system solves problems that would otherwise take up staff time from other tasks.

An online learning platform standardizes and enhances the onboarding process and sharing information

Rinta-Joupin Autoliike has 28 locations and over 600 employees all over Finland.

"Onboarding and continuous learning are needed because we work with different kinds of vehicles and customers every day. We sell and buy all kinds of vehicles, including cars, trucks, camper vans, motorcycles, and boats. Changes in the car industry and in the legislations related to it also require us to create new instructions for our employees. In the maintenance and sales departments, the growth of electric and hybrid car sales has created a need for learning new things.

In addition to this, the car industry is constantly being digitalized from both the employees' and the customers' point of view. This is why we need a shared, inspiring, and motivating platform to learn about new things", says the HR director of Rinta-Joupin Autoliike, Eeva Puska.

The company's internal knowledge is shared and made visible with continuous learning

Succeeding in business goals today is all about having professional, skilled employees.

"Vuolearning has been a great help for us in supporting our staff's continuous learning in the changing industry. We want to focus and invest in the competence of our staff now, and in the future as well", Puska summarizes.
